From the 1971 album Survival which seems to be generally dismissed by critics and some fans alike, it has always been one of my favourites. Always will be. I adore this spiritual song written in the Vietnam War era! Mark Farner really out did himself on this one. TK even had a great idea to provide the children's take on God.
I'm just sorry the drummer got the lead vocal though...I'd love to hear Mark himself singing it. Maybe some sweet day?

Thank you. Nice to hear others like this song as much as me. I want to get some of the other songs from the album posted too that I really like, Comfort Me and Country Road, I need to dress this one up a bit with some images or something,seems a bland video but I think the song stands on its own really. ;)

:) I was going to scan my LP and get some pics but its about to fall apart now! I'm the same way, have a few hundred LP's I just cant part with, even if I dont play them, there's something of holding that album cover in your hands you cant get from a cd or any other form.
