Description:
Ubers are so very common online. When you put together a team, you have to be sure you can take them on. It should be clear on how important training your Pokémon is than choosing them when you consider that my only loss today came from the one match without Ubers.
I used Rampardos, Steelix, and Crawdaunt. My opponent used Aerodactyl, Deoxys (Attack), and Kyogre.

Oh, I remember that battle. You're right; Sheer Cold does activate the Focus Sash and therefore so does Horn Drill, Guillotine, and Fissure. However, I tested out Explosion in my Diamond version with my Electrode (who conveniently was already holding a Focus Sash). Electrode's HP automatically went to zero anyway and it fainted still holding the Focus Sash.

I guess I'll have to prove it. When you have time go to the video pokemon battle revolution wifi battle 06 12/29. The persons username should be tantan255. During the battle tantan has beautifly out against a kyogre. The kyogre uses sheer cold but tantans survives with a focus sash. Theres your proof.

Focus Sash works only when our HP would get reduced to zero that could otherwise not faint a Pokémon with a higher Defense or Special Defense. The Focus Sash does not work on thins that instantly causes a knockout, such as Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Sheer Cold or, in this case, if the user does Explosion.

It doesn't work that way. Explosion automatically takes away all your HP no matter what.

Nice making use of Kyogre's Drizzle to power up your Crawdaunt! You are also extremely lucky with your Steelix, as the foe probably pressed the wrong move when he used Rock Slide intead of Earthquake. Just that mistake brought you to victory!

It has the maximum possible Speed stat, with an IV of 31 and 252 EVs. One use of Rock Polish doubles that amount. I dont know what the exact numbers are, however.
