Description: Melissa McGhee's departure was one of the biggest Idol snubs ever!!! I can't believe she didn't last longer than Kevin Covais or Kellie Pickler; we ALL know that it's true: They just can't sing well. Yes, she forgot the lyrics. Yes, she forgot the lyrics AGAIN. But, she definately wasn't the worst that night. At All. I keep hearing people say, 'She forgot her lyrics, how dare she ruin a classic.' Blah-Blah-Blah. I think they were just lookin for reasons not to vote for her. They found one and stuck to it. I didnt even notice it; I just thought she had moved the microphone too far from her face, so she quickly moved it back so the audience could hear her. Whatever... she's my American Idol.

Aylafanandre ::: Favorites around 3:25. She mixes up 2 similar sounding words (premonition and recognition?), and quickly hides it by changing it mid-word. pretty smooth, and its not too noticible. Enjouchi ::: Favorites I think the recent season had much more problems with forgetting the lyrics than Melissa's. At least she just kept going, the other contestants stopped completely short and continued in the next line. I was more impressed that she was able to hold on.
