On the first opening night, actor who played Oliver gagged on the oatmeal live on stage so it was decided to use apple sauce for easy eating the following night. To thier surprise live on stage that the apple sauce the boys looked forwarded to was colored green!!!! one of the boy actually showed the bowl to the audience what's really in the bowl theyre shocked for! it was so funny! I was in this play at Lakewood a few years ago and I was Dodger and I remember sitting backstage while they sang this with my friend Turner who played Charlie Bates and we did this quirky little lip sync to this durning the dress rehearsal.
