The republican party is being taken over by us Dr.Paul supporters. People are running for office, joining the republican party, and getting involved..all because of Dr.Ron Paul. Dr.Paul speaks from the heart. He inspires! Listen and investigate his ideas. I have never voted/cared about politics. But now I am registered republican (for the primaries), joined my local GOP, attending meetings, and considering running for office. Take a look around there are a lot of others doing the same!

I think that's exactly why he would be great because he will be the peoples President. Not the GOP's President or the DNC's. Ron Paul is and has always been one of us. He is a true "Citizen Statesman." Besides he is really the only candidate that is talking about how he's going to get this country out of debt and make us great again. He's the only one. Why?

The departments (Homeland Security, Education, etc) exist at the pleasure of the president. The president created the Department of Homeland Security without consulting Congress... and he can eliminate it just as easily.

Parties do nohing but destroy our nation. George Washington even predicted the self destructive nature of political parties in his farewell address.

And then his successor proved that most Presidents cannot govern without a party.

The reason why Ron Paul is so popular is because the party and everyone else who is pro -war is so unpopular. You are right in that many don't support him, but thats the problem with a corrupt government. The American people want the "decider in chief" to at least be an honest man, even if his party is corrupt.

well if the people don't like who's representing their state then they can get involved. But yea you're right theres going to be a lot of negociating and acceptance on both parts.

He can first get rid of everything that is unconstitutional. Then maybe he can let the house and congress read the constitution for the first time. fter that the will be on his side, all of them, dems and reps. Go Ron Paul Go!
