Description:

http://mediamatters.org/items/20070301000 On the February 28 edition of his CNN Headline News program, Glenn Beck once again made sexually suggestive comments toward a woman when he hosted US Weekly's Dina Sansing to discuss racy photographs of American Idol contestant Antonella Barba. After Beck claimed that "[y]ou can't take stupid photos and expect those to be ... locked away forever," Sansing responded that it was "possibly" true and that "it depends." As the weblog Crooks and Liars noted, Beck then asked: "Dina, I've got some time and a camera. Why don't you stop by?" Sansing did not respond and, after several seconds of silence, Beck stated: "No? OK." As Media Matters for America has noted (here, here, and here), in each of the first three episodes of his CNN Headline News show in May 2006, Beck made sexually suggestive comments to CNN Headline News anchor Erica Hill, who was then giving daily news updates on Beck's show. Hill no longer appears on Beck's program. As Media Matters for America has noted, ABC recently hired Beck as a "regular commentator" for Good Morning America.

"There are pros and cons for every theory." Yes, there's the theory that says the earth is round, and the opposite that the earth is flat. There are pros and cons to both.

It's not the first time. Remember he demanded the Muslim congressman "prove to me you're not working with the enemy?"

i wasn't talking about al gore. sounds like you're putting up straw men. the idea of an ecological footprint originated with bill rees at UBC, long before al gore was interested in "environmental" issues. personally, i'd like to deal with global warming before "[nature] eliminate[s] us." i think many others would also.

My point is that gore is a hipocrite. There are pros and cons for every theory. Nature is an intricate well developed entity that will create a way to deal with anything that humans are capapble of doing to it. When it tires of us it will simply eliminate us. Carbon footprints and profits to be made have a lot to do with algore.

i don't think you can really argue whether a carbon footprint exists--if you use energy derived from fossil fuels, there's a greenhouse gas emissions consequence attached to that. tying the carbon footprint to some coulterian idea of "liberals" or so-called "liberalism" (what does it have to do with al gore?) doesn't serve to discredit it at all. i'd think of some more sensible arguments (if you can).

At least digital footprint makes sense unlike carbon footprint. LOL Gore pays Gore for his so called carbon footprint because he's the chair of the company and an investor. Ha stupid f'n liberals. He's not lowering his energy usage he's paying himself to use the same amount of energy. (Do as I say not as I do) is the liberal philosophy.
