Description: Ol'Charlie was seen as the final messenger to the true Christian congregation. He wrote books and confirmed much of his teaching by pyramidaolgy. He used the measurements of the steps of the great pyramid to confirm the end of the world in 1914. |

elfinman7 ::: Favorites Charles Russell was positively NOT the founder of the JW's. There is no mention of JW's until the 1930's, and Russell died in 1916. Oops! He can not take responsibility for what happened after his death, obviously. The JW's have, over the years, siginficantly departed from CTR's Biblical views, including the belief that ALL are to be resurrected. Check out the Chicago Bible Students on Google for more info. 07-09-29 18:44:32 __________________________________________________
cooper79jeffr ::: Favorites To Redclif101: That Watchtower cover shown at 2:10 in this video was the real picture. The video-maker photo-shopped in the words "Startling New Light, We were right..." I remember this cover photograph from the days when I was a JW. 07-09-26 19:48:54 __________________________________________________
craptowermamma ::: Favorites Oh everybody just relax (not you Redclif101)...It is a good video. I love special effects....and even an "active JW" has to admit that the Pyramid stuff is pretty weird. Kudos to you Truthbluebook. Keep having fun. Exposing lunacy is always a good thing. 07-09-14 12:54:42 __________________________________________________
Redclif101 ::: Favorites I saw a copy of Divine Plan on eBay and hesitated to buy it. Next time I will get a copy. Not sure about that Watchtower. Nice Photoshop skills. 07-09-03 22:07:54 __________________________________________________
Yobabysmama ::: Favorites Yes, I am an "apostate" under the JW's definition. I do not believe in or follow the Watchtower Organizations commandments anymore. 07-08-26 23:30:56 __________________________________________________
ntkb78 ::: Favorites Speculation and logical fallacies. You sound like an apostate. The truth stands and its stated above in my posts. Witnesses of God are not required to pay or literature, contrary to your original point. Your post is debunked. I will leave any readers of this thread to make their own conclusions based on what has been said. I feel I no longer need to dance in circles since the original topic has been resolved. 07-08-26 22:29:40 __________________________________________________
Yobabysmama ::: Favorites However, on January 17, 1990, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that sales of religious literature were subject to taxation, which would have required the Watchtower Society to pay tax on the price of the magazines. The Watchtower Society filed an amicus curiae ("friend of the court") brief arguing that the sale of religious literature should be exempt from taxation. Ok, the Jehovah's Witnesses now call it donations, not buying the literature. For the reason, stated above. 07-08-26 21:20:44 __________________________________________________
ntkb78 ::: Favorites All literature is given out without request for payment. I fail to see how they would even know if someone is paying or not. You are totally misinformed. I hope this clears things up for you and whoever reads this (my primary reason for responding). 07-08-26 17:50:15 __________________________________________________
ntkb78 ::: Favorites Now you are just making nonsense up. I have never been called any names, and have been nothing but loved by my brothers and sisters in the Congregation. I don't know where you got your information, or why you hold such misconceptions, but all donations are done in private in donation boxes which are not monitored. 07-08-26 17:50:04 __________________________________________________
Yobabysmama ::: Favorites They would call you a sponge or leech witness. It's a bad thing to say, but that's what they did to people who never paid for anything. Just like they call people who don't comment "space cadets". 07-08-26 13:50:55 __________________________________________________ |
