Description: I marched in solidarity with the immigrant community on May 1, 2006. I have never been in the company of such brave, driven and hard working people. This is some video I took that day set to the song Nuestro Himno from Somos Americanos. The immigrants of America should be an inspiration to us all. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. |

vicquial ::: Favorites yes, the words are abit diferent, but the message is still very nice. If you speak both english and spanish you can understand me. Ammm, the canadian anthem is in english and french and the message is COMPLETELY diferent but they both have a message of beauty about the country. That is what is important. This songs does not insults the USA but gives a nice message 07-10-03 10:27:54 __________________________________________________
Marielalaura ::: Favorites I was there that day, and the only thing that surprised me was that there was not a single Cuban. This my personal opinion: there weren't there because the only need to do is get to Miami to protest against Castro and get a green card, while the rest of us have to pay taxes, be a good citizen and work hard. 07-09-22 23:58:00 __________________________________________________
Kari166 ::: Favorites uhm, i never said anyone had to be exactly like me. 07-09-19 16:12:55 __________________________________________________
Kari166 ::: Favorites i don't mind people making a spanish version for a few people to understand, but, it's for the ILLEGAL people i have a problem with. The translation isn't even that good, and they included a few verses that didn't even EXIST in the anthem yet. but thaks for not geting mad about my comment :) 07-09-17 18:45:10 __________________________________________________
xxEmilymacaroni ::: Favorites I have to disagree, for an immigrant growing up in America who didnt know the language yet, it would be hard to undestand the words, making a spanish version of it helps them to understand the meaning of such an important song. When they hear the original played (games, shows etc) they'll have a sense of the meaning :) 07-09-17 15:22:46 __________________________________________________
eightfold ::: Favorites Hey Kari166 - obviously you don't know the meaning of the word "solidarity" - grow up and deal with the fact that not everyone is EXACTLY like you. If you think altering powerful symbols is inappropriate then you'd better start protesting all the times they changed the flag to include new states. 07-09-17 01:24:04 __________________________________________________
Canadian3205 ::: Favorites I will be the man and leave, you asshole. Stay in mexico unlike the rest of your gay family. 07-08-23 20:07:06 __________________________________________________
Danyeloy ::: Favorites putoooo!!!!!! Yo mejor me voy y dejo de perder mi tiempo contigo cabron. Bye 07-08-23 20:02:27 __________________________________________________
Canadian3205 ::: Favorites LEAVE ME AND THE SMART AMERICAN PEOPLE ALONE. Mexico is gay. It sucks like you. 07-08-23 19:59:55 __________________________________________________ |
