Description: Alien is us: we project our archetypes and our cultural and personal imagery over a fairly abstract but not entirely blank template that alien is initially. This template/ mirror then reflects our imagery back to us; we project it back onto alien again, and so on, until a feedback of a kind is created; then we "see" this or that alien, whatever we make of it - when spirit is understood, form knows itself. These images are not mere pictures but complex associative chains involving emotions, thoughts, language, sensations, notions, physical action, complete and complex experiences. This is the only way we and them can "talk" i.e. communicate.
