andolin ::: Favorites Actually, Leyenda, like most of Albeniz' works, was originally scored for piano, despite its fame on the classical guitar. Drontenpeel ::: Favorites I have listened to a dozen versions of leyenda on guitar. In spite of the challenge this is a masterpiece that is meant to be played by guitar. Pity that guitarists seem to approach this piece as a challenge, the spirit is so strong. There is - for comparison only - that few versions of Voodoo chile played by Jimi Hendrix that can catch the spirit. But when it does, it brings tears to my eyes.
