He`s amazing! Such an influence on SO many musicians. Just wish he was recording today...he left such a gap. Since you`ve been gone bands like Primus and Mr.Bungle simply extrapolated or exploited your ideas, but then...they`re just for the kiddies.

It's been a long time ago but I believe quote came from an autobiography! I don't know if Don is a genius or he has overcome a dysfunjctional brain. He couldn't even go to school. He reminds me of some of the studies in the book called "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Lampshade." Some pepole have problems with the logical/analytical half of their brain but the creative halfe functions well. I am not saying this is the case but it could be.

Don's great. I like his quote:"No one has ever convinced me that this is not Paradise."

My smile is stuck, i can not go back to your Frownland. My spirit's made up of the ocean and the sky and the sun and the moon, and all my eye can see.

The song is on the Zappa collection The Lost Episodes, as "Lost In A Whirlpool". And his voice on it is pretty cool.
