You're absolutely right. Many styles are similar like Family guy and the simpsons..for the majority though, most cartoons are different. It's just a matter of time before mykindofflash develops his own unique style. It takes time.

Yeah, again it's just a matter of time before you start to design characters like no one else has before. Just takes time. Glad you like my film!

I could easily change the style, it's just this style comes naturally and suits my writing. I'm gonna try and tweak the visuals before I release my next Flash with this character in order to stop the comparison with Family Guy in reviews. I like your movies also, Stephen.

This is true but you can't say that every style looks completely different. Family Guy and The Simpsons look basically the same with the exception of their faces and skin tones. The are certain little things that make each artistic style unique but, as he said, his inspirations come from many different drawing styles which are commonly used in many more places than Family Guy.

Respectfully I'm going to have to disagree with you. Every artist over time develops their own unique style. It's not like you have a mr.potato head and decide which, already designed body parts, to put on. As an artist, you develop your own UNIQUE way of drawing characters. You develop your own style, not tweaking other styles.

It will take time before you develop your own style as I have or any other artist. It takes years. The timing was great and the limited animation was smooth and well timed. It's just a matter of time before you find your unique style.

Admittedly my style isn't as unique as I would hope, but I like to think my it's my comedy style that sets it apart from the rest. Thanks for feedback.

Yeah, stephenstudios, this has been my style long before I knew of Family Guy, back when I was drawing comics, I was inspired by The Flintstones mostly. They used the same angle on characters (the three-quarter view) which enables minimum movement and flat scene setups. Family Guy did influence my style eventually, I used to have big mouths that came off the face, but changed to the smaller mouth. I also had the big Simpsons eyes, but changed it to meet the artistic rule for spacing eyes.

Family Guy wasn't the first one to use a basic, colorful, easy-on-the eyes style. There are only so many animation styles out there. I prefer this to him trying to add or change things, making it distracting in order to "not look like family guy"

very funny dude! One note though, you need your own style. The characters look like theyre from family guy.
